ABOUT AT RISK ENTERTAINMENT
At Risk Entertainment LLC is a Michigan based motion picture & music
production company.  At Risk Entertainment CEO Larry Simmons
currently writes, directs, and produces the companies film projects.
Larry Simmons was "schooled" on the way the entertainment business
operates by Trevel Productions, a Cleveland, Ohio based company that
was operated by the late R & B star Gerald Levert, and his father Eddie
Levert of the OJays.  Introduced to Trevel by his manager who had
given a cassette tape to Gerald Levert, Larry Simmons gained a wealth
of knowledge.  Larry Simmons went on to sign a distribution agreement
in 1993 for his record label with a local company that was distributed by
Ichiban Records, a hot mid-major in the nineties.  Frustrated with the
way the industry was headed, Larry Simmons began to produce and
distribute his own material.  In 1996 Larry Simmons, along with former
NFL players Derek Carr and Terry Crews produced an independent film.
Larry went on in 1999 to produce the short film "Run it", which was
showcased on IFILM.  In 2004 he was selected as a top 250 Director in
the Matt Damon and Ben Affleck Project Green Light (HBO/Live Planet).
In 2009 he completed the feature film "Crime Alert".  At Risk
Entertainment will produce 2 to 3 films a year, and produce and release
limited music projects as well.
